So whether you are enjoying a holiday in the Lakes, a city break in Manchester or a rural retreat in the east of England, you can get involved in an unprecedented cultural line-up country-wide.”

Although there may be concerns over congestion during that period; in a survey by #Harris Interactive for #TTG magazine 62% of Londoners (surveyed) said that they would like to avoid the crowds and head elsewhere. However, these concerns were assuaged by participants in an Olympics Games and Tourism seminar at the World Travel Market , including #James Berresford, Chief Executive #VisitEngland and #Martine Ainsworth-Wells, Marketing and Communications Director, London and Partners. They confirmed that the ongoing infrastructure development and planning will help make the congestion manageable.
